ISU DANCE CLASS FINALS

During my first year in graduate school at Illinois State University, I was assigned as the lighting designer for several solo performances that were integrated with those created by fellow lighting design students. It required me to grasp the conceptual themes of each performance, develop cues for the evolving choreography, and program live in response to the flow of the dance. This experience emphasized the importance of flexibility, collaboration, familiarity with the base rig, and comfort with programming.
