VEHICLE NARRATIVE

"Vehicle Narrative Final" was an Advanced Sound Design project that I had created during Graduate School. It was to find a photo of a Sci-fi vehicle and modify sound effects in order to make them sound as though it were from that vehicle. In this mix, you will hear my interpretation of the spacecraft in the background while it accelerates, slows down, goes into hyperspeed, and also enters a tunnel.

TO MY FATHER

"To My Father" was an Advanced Sound Design project that I had created during Graduate School. This project was to focus on our abilities to create clear and precise recordings of an actors voice  to derive a story and give a realistic sense of environment. I wanted this to seem as though I were leaving a voicemail to my father, whom in the story I had not talked to in a very long time. This was to feel sentimental, awkward, and sweet as a stumble through trying to find the right words.

SOUND TO ANIMATION

"Sound to Animation" was an Advanced Sound Design project that I had created during Graduate School. This was a project that required choosing an animation that was about 1 minute in duration, strip the original sound effects, and then to create our own. I had chosen an animation called "The Maker" by Zealous Creative and had cropped the video to fit within the time constraint of the project. The goal of my sound design for this animation was to give each character a subtle personality difference as well as give the environment a stillness that really enveloped the interaction between the two characters. The motivation of the music that is being played by the male character is to have epic proportion and also have been from a cello or violin to tie back into the details that are within the characters features. This was a fun project that I had fallen in love with and I am so happy to share.
